Train Travel

If you have any cheap train travel in Spain, we asked, the answer is yes, it's possible. Renfe, the national railway company offers reasonable prices for all his ways. However, high-speed trains are more expensive.
Here is a list of tips that I use when buying a high-speed train in Spain. They help you save a fortune.
1.Look for super low rates online
This is not an agency ticketing and travel agents.
Renfe site allows you to purchase tickets 62 days in advance of your travel rail travel (including AVE and before). In fact, all

trains are subject to both "Web" and "Estrella" (star) discounts. They are available to all (no age limit) and the best deal for the train of Spanish!

A 'Web' tariff (60% savings) that you buy your tickets at least 15 days before the day of departure.

A 'Estrella' Fare (40% savings) that you buy your tickets at least 7 days before the day of departure.
Of course, the sooner you buy the ticket, the more likely one of these prices on your ticket.
2nd Get a discount when you move to another city to catch an international flight
The basic rule, the Renfe offers 20% discount if you buy a round trip.
If you are headed to an airport to catch an international flight, or if you take the train directly after landing fishing plan, you can get an extra

10% (one way) or 25% off (back) on tickets AVE

15% discount each way on the media and the notes BEFORE Distancia
This option is called "Plane + tren" (plane + train). But you must have a ticket for yourself before buying the ticket. Therefore, you need to buy the ticket at a station or a travel agent.
It is also available if you go on an international cruise (eg Barcelona or Valencia). This option is called "Barco + tren" (boat + train).
3rd If you are looking for a round trip, a two-way ticket bought in all directions. You have access to a wider range of discount rates per day.
Try busy fourth day, as on Sunday morning (especially 17 hours), Monday (especially in the early hours) and Friday (all day) to avoid. Unfortunately, you will never get a discount if you travel on Friday afternoon (after 13 hours), does not encourage this because the Renfe train plan.
The fifth and last first trains are always cheaper. Buy your tickets in advance because the trains in the morning and early evening are full of business customers.
6th Non-stop trains to Barcelona are expensive. Try to stop in Madrid, even if it is a train to another change.
Looking 7th cheap as rail travel for students? Use the map of International Youth Travel! It will give you 20% discount on each ticket. However, please note that all discounts are mutually exclusive. So if you buy a ticket on a 'web' fare, you will not receive the student discount of 20%.
8th All children under 4 travel free if he or she sits on her lap.
9th Avoid buying anything at the station and shops, cafes, and the cafeteria on the train and bus. Prices are abusive in general. You must bring your own snacks and drinks with you instead.
As you can see, it is very easy access to cheap train tickets! If some simple instructions on how to buy a ticket online, you must download a step by step guide that you can print and read at your own pace.
