For many of the visitors to the tropical island paradise of Bali, traveling by boat to Lombok and the Gili ilsands is the perfect form of transport.
The best way to travel between Bali and Lombok is using the BlueWater Express boat from South Bali direct to your destination of Gili Islands and Lombok. This express shuttle departs from south Bali, very close to all the main resorts where most of the tourists stay. The trip only takes two hours, and takes in some spectacular scenery all along the southeast coast of Bali before arriving in the Gili islands and then traveling on to Lombok. The service includes hotel pick-ups, and drops passengers direct to the beautiful beach in Gili Trawangan, and then a few minutes later on the spectacular coast of northwest Lombok.
For travellers on a budget, there is also the option of taking the public ferry from Padang Bai, which takes four or five hours across the Lombok Strait to the main harbour in Lombok, called Lembar. From Lembar, it is easy to hire transport to any destination in Lombok, including the famously beautiful Gili Islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno.
To get to the Gili Islands, you must first travel by road up to the harbour of Bangsal or Teluk Kode, and then take a public boat from mainland Lombok to the Gili islands. The price is very cheap.
There are a number of other fast boat operators that run boat services between Bali and Lombok. If you are staying in a hotel or resort in south Bali, you may choose if you prefer to spend more time on the road, or more time by boat on the sea. Asia travels is one of a kind since every country is unique in its own way; it has its own personality and way of life, they may have plenty of differences but among all of those differences it brings you to spot the things that they have in common, such as the respect they have for others especially to the elderly, and of course their hospitability that never fades. Oh…yes! One big common thing that they have- rice! Yes rice, they won't feel satisfied without rice in their diet. It is like bread without butter, peanut butter without jelly, burger without meat, mashed potato without gravy… well, you get the point.

Majority of people in the Philippines understand and speak English pretty well, so you won't have to worry about getting lost, but on the other hand- getting lost is one way or the other part of the adventure, right? Don't worry if getting lost is not your "cup of tea" just ask for directions and most people would be happy to give you a hand. Their famous airport in manila is named Ninoy Aquino Airport; most of the ingoing and outgoing flights come through this airport. You may also want to add in your itinerary the wonderful beaches and island resorts in the Luzon and Visayas area. There are plenty to choose from, some of these that you may want to check out are Bolinao, Pagudpud, Mindoro and Palawan.

Record your Asia travels and share your amazing stories with friends and families. Thailand's people are really very inviting, friendly and hospitable, even though majority are most comfortable speaking in their native language they don't make it a barrier to communicate, so why should you? Think of it as part of the adventure! But before visiting any foreign country make sure to take some time and research on their culture and pick up some basic words in their language like "thank you", "welcome", "how much?" and so on. Travel Asia will never be boring and dull.

South Korea, Japan and Singapore are more advance in technology and in economy than Philippines and Thailand so one might expect to spend a little more than the latter, but it won't disappoint your expectations. They also have plenty to offer with their modern architecture as well as their modern and ancient culture, they are also very friendly and hospitable people.

Visiting these Asian countries definitely won't disappoint you; they will be a part of you forever, of nothing but good and happy memories with the learning experiences that nobody can take away from you.

Offsetting your carbon footprint while traveling can be a difficult feat to manage. But nowadays, as companies and the general public become more and more informed, green travel can become a reality. Here's a quick guide to small things you can do to make your trip less harsh on the environment.

First, utilize public transportation. That big smelly bus that is motoring down Fifth Avenue may look like an awful polluter. But it's actually better to ride on that thing than your very own personal taxi. Until cities like New York and Chicago pass laws to require all taxi cab companies use hybrid vehicles, traveling on buses and trains will leave the least carbon footprint. It's also a great way to meet and watch the locals in action. Buses are fantastic modes of transport for tourists, especially in foreign countries. It is also a great way to get around safely and economically. You also won't get lost as easily as when you rent a rental car!

Second, reuse your sheets and towels. Nearly every hotel on the planet has installed those information cards that inform you of this. Reusing the same linens for your entire stay greatly reduces the effect on the environment. And why is it that 90 percent of us at home will sleep on our sheets for weeks at a time, but then can't go two nights in a hotel?

Third, pick your hotel accordingly. Believe it or not, there are lists available that score the 'greenness' of hotels. Find this list or one like it online before you book and stay with the confidence that the institution you are giving your money to has the environment on your mind as much as you do.

Fourth, find locally grown produce and local restaurants. While you're staying in that city, try to find the places that aren't importing (and thus multiplying their carbon footprint) their food in from other cities. Oftentimes, adhering to this principle means having to find little diamonds in the rough (and missing that touristy five diamond restaurant) but in the end, is better for all of us.

Fifth, ride hybrid. Put your arm up for a taxi, if the 1985 minivan or explorer pulls up, wave them on. Wait for the Altima or Prius hybrid to come up. The more consumers demand hybrid cabs over old fashioned ones, the more the taxi cab companies will listen.
